Damage Boost Items

Notes:

A Note That Nobody Cares About
[1] An item may appear in more than one tab if it deals more damage to at least 2 monster types but less than 5.

Definition of Tagged
[2] "All tagged" or "tagged" is used to define items that deal more damage to Chaoskind, Dragonkind, Elementalkind, Humankind, and Undeadkind monsters only (the common monster types), not Drakathkind and Orckind monsters. To check a monster's kind you can select the monster and look under the monster's name at the top. Alternatively, you can turn on "Show Monster Type" in the settings which doesn't require selecting.

Damage Range Categories
[3] There are 5 categories for weapon base damage: Default (27-33), Fixed/Static (30-30), High (-2-62 to 10-50), Medium (11-49 to 20-40), and Other/Miscellaneous (21-39 to 24-36, 28-32, and 29-31). The min and max will always add up to 60. For more info, please check out the Weapon Damage Thread.

Damage Boost Types & Stack Rule
[4] All 8 damage boost types (xdmg2monsters, xdmg2chaos, xdmg2dragon, xdmg2elemental, xdmg2human, xdmg2undead, xdmg2drakath, xdmg2orc) are stackable with each other. However, a damage boost type does not stack with itself. For example, equipping a sword that deals 51%+ damage to all monsters does not stack with an armor that deals 25%+ damage to all monsters. In that case, the sword's damage boost takes precedence because it's greater. However, a sword that deals 51%+ damage to all monsters does stack with an armor that deals 50%+ damage to all tagged monsters. In this case, you would be dealing 126%+ damage to tagged monsters and 51%+ damage to every other monster. It should be noted that the stack is multiplicative. To get to 126, we can do the following math: $(1.51*1.5-1)*100$. More examples:

Example Equipped Item (1) Equipped Item (2) Combined Boost
1 Necrotic Sword of Doom (51%+ all) Polly Roger (30%+ tagged) 96%+ to tagged and 51%+ to every other monster
2 Burning Blade Of Abezeth (30%+ all) Empowered Chaos Avenger Armor (50%+ Chaoskind) 95%+ to Chaoskind and 30%+ to every other monster
3 Blaze of Awe (30%+ tagged) Fire Champion's Armor (50%+ Dragonkind) 50%+ to Dragonkind and 30%+ to all other tagged monsters
4 War Blade of Wisdom (75%+ Chaoskind) Fire Champion's Armor (50% + Dragonkind) 75%+ to Chaoskind and 50%+ to Dragonkind
5 War Blade of Wisdom (75%+ Chaoskind) Empowered Drakath Armor (50%+ Chaoskind) 75%+ to Chaoskind

Temporary Server Boosts
[2] AE often gifts all players with temporary double boosts. To see which server boost is active, check out New Releases or the Artix Calendar.

Gold Cap Bypass
[3] Gold has a cap of 100 million. However, it is possible to bypass the cap. This can be done by having close to but less than 100 million gold and turning in a quest that gives a significant amount of gold such as the Awe-scention quest. Some players have managed to obtain over 130 million total gold via this method.

Gold Cap Bypass (but not really)
[4] Another way to circumvent the gold cap (not necessarily a bypass) is by buying and storing Gold Vouchers. When needed, each voucher can be sold for 25% of the original price. A way to look at this: Gold Voucher 500k stacks up to 300, sell for 125,000 gold each, and allow 37.5 million gold in reserve for the small price of 150 million gold and 1 inventory slot.

Types of Boosts & Stack Rule
[5] Similarly to damage boost items, these 4 boosts have a multiplicative stacking mechanism. Server boost, item boost1, and use item boost all stack multiplicatively. The same precedence rule also applies. If you equip Arcangrove Invoker (3%+ CP) and Dread Tank Cape (20%+ CP), you will only receive 20%+ CP. Examples:
Example Server Boost Equipped Item Equipped Use Item Combined Boost Math
1 Double Rep Boost Invoker Book Cape (15%+ Rep) Doom REP Boost! (1 hr) +360% Rep $(2 * 1.15 * 2 - 1) * 100$
2 N/A Cyber Dreadhaven Mace (15%+ CP) Doom CLASS Boost! (1 hr) +130% CP $(1.15 * 2 - 1) * 100$
